Volunteers don't necessarily have the time; they have the heart

 ~ Elizabeth Andrew

Volunteer.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of KACS. We are always on the lookout for compassionate people to lend a hand. There are many opportunities to be a part of the KACS Volunteer team :
  • Receiving and sorting food takes place every Tuesday from 9am-4pm at the New Garden Township Building located at 299 Starr Road in Landenberg, PA.
  • Food Distribution takes place  from 3pm-6pm on Wednesdays and from  1pm- 6pm on Fridays at the Food Cupboard located at 136 West Cedar Street in Kennett Square.
  • We prepare for food distribution on Wednesdays from 12pm-3pm and Fridays from 10am-1pm at the Food Cupboard located at 136 West Cedar Street in Kennett Square.
If you are ready to roll up your sleeves with us , we would love to have you!

Volunteer Groups.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, group volunteer activities are no longer available due to the small size of our Food Cupboard.  We will update our site when we are able to accommodate group volunteers.
Thank you so much for your understanding!
